Because the LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox Drop Top Breathable Wader is a lightweight, convertible wader, you will love it as a duck hunting wader or fishing wader.  This breathable wader is 100% waterproof yet the Talson nylon upper is breathable and remarkably comfortable on early season hunts or warmer days. The Alpha Swampfox Drop Top Breathable Wader is a convertible wader because it can be worn as a chest wader or quickly converted into a lighweight, comfortable waist wader.  As the day warms, just remove the suspenders and drop the top by rolling the upper down to the waist.  The waist belt keeps the wader snug in the chest high or waist position.  The suspenders are adjustable to provide a custom chest wader fit and the sides feature adjustable side straps to snug up against varying layers when it is cold or open for additional ventilation when the day is warm.  Carry shells, valuables or other gear in the waterproof chest pocket.  The boots are 3.5mm neoprene with a waterproof rubbed covering for comfortable, flexible warmth and they are packed with 600 grams of Thinsulate insulation for additional protection against cold water wading.   Cruise through muck and other terrain with the Swamp-Lite outsoles that provide traction even on slippery rocks.  The Realtree Max5 exterior  makes this camo wader disappear in any wetland environment.   Make your next hunt or fishing trip in the LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox Drop Top Breathable Wader and go like a pro in all day comfort.

  • Hello Texas Fowlers, I am a supervisor for the City of Portland, Oregon Sewer Repair Department. We have many women working in the field at the Portland Bureau of Transportation. Before I became a supervisor, working in the sewers, I had a problem finding boots to fit my size 8 feet with 20" calves. I ended up splitting the rubber boots up the back and duct taping the gap. This practice is still done today for women that can't find a boot to fit. We need rubber boots, hip and chest waders with a bootfoot and cleats. I'm only 5'3". In order to get waders to fit, we have to get a bigger size, then our feet swim in the boots and the crotch sags down to our knees. Can you suggest some boots for us? Thank you

  • I have a size 14 wide foot with large ankles and calf's that measure 19" Im 6'1" and just over 300 lbs My Waste is 50" Chest 54" Inseam 33" I have difficulty with the Boot entry point being to small for my ancle. Do you Have a Product that Will Fit me My Calf at 19" and Thick Ankles present a problem Most size 15 Boot size are cut similar to the 14" Your help is Appreciated

    Waist and chest 56"
    Inseam is 33
    Calf at 16" from floor is 22". 

    All waders have a cinched in ankle to keep the foot secure in the field .  The Lacrosse boot has the largest ankle opening.  
    The Gator Wader bossman has similar sizing but it insulated and therefore a little snugger at the calf but a pliable boot that can be manipulated.  Give ma a call and we can discuss pro's and con's of each and help you to find the best wader fit for you.

    Yes sir they are for bigger men.  The waist is a 52" for a size 15 boot.
