Hard to explain in words, but FUN FUN FUN. Yes its also great for brush, battery last me thru about 15 tankfulls. I have cleared fence lines and edge of driveway. Also grat for starting that brushpile and safer by not being so close to fire when adding fuel to get it hotter and started on those wet days.

This is the best weed eater burn your pasture thing I have ever used.

Where I live, far south Louisiana, we never have a freeze or frost to kill off veg. Maybe some times but no snow.

Your device does an excellent job by allowing us to burn immediately acre squares and control grass fire even in wind.

What do you use for fuel?

Exothermic recommends a combination gas/diesel equal parts to create the longest flame. You may also use just gas as well with a slightly shorter flame.

Home page mentions an alternative nozzle. How many different nozzles can I buy and what are their uses? Plus mine won’t run on pure diesel I’m just wondering if it’s suppose to or does it have to be at least 50/50 gas diesel?

Yes, a different nozzle that is designed for California can be attached with a 10 foot span of fire versus the original 20-30 feet. The manufacturer suggests a combination 50/50 ratio for peak performance.

The manufacturer designed it to use diesel or unleaded gas . Most farmers get better effects with diesel . They also utilize the backpack as an added source of fuel when covering large areas of land .
