I started Texas Fowlers in 1996 as a Texas Rag style decoy manufacturer and Texas Coastal Prararie Waterfowl Guide Service.  Rapid retail sales growth in 2005, 2006 and 2007 has made Texas Fowlers a leading supplier retailer in the hunting products industry.  Fair prices, fair policies and an emphasis on customer service fueled our rapid growth.  Keep shopping with me as my list of quality products and satified customers continues to grow.

Hi

I'm  Derwyn Booker, Founder and Operator of Texas Fowlers.  I am a degreed engineer and worked many years in the refining and pertrochemical industries.  My career took me east and west.  I have hunted ducks, geese and other game birds in every North American Flyway, Canada & Mexico.  Hunting and fishing is my passion and Texas Fowlers is one way that I support myself and family while living this passion.

I am also a USCG Certified Captain and operate DoDaBlu Charters.  Check it out at http://www.dodablu.com/.  While I may not be the best Charter Boat Captain in the world, never caught a Bigeyed Tuna and I don't have any world records, I still do things my way.  From walking 2 miles to duck hunt a public marsh pond to slamming a boat load of Mahi Mahi.  I've got as many wonderful days afield as any outdoorsman deserves, caught a boatload of fun and adventure; and I have a trophy room full of memories.

Thanks to my dad who started me in the rice fields of southeast Texas in the early 1960s.  I've passed the heritage to my son and we continue to enjoy many enjoyable days afield - offshore on the gulf of Mexico, stream fishing in Arkansas and the northwest, shooting snows and gadwals on the Texas coast or slamming pea field mallards in Canada; gets better every season.
