These safes are ETL fire rated to manufacturer’s specifications for 30 minutes up to 1400°F.
In addition, these safes are ETL tested for water resistance in up to 2 feet of standing water for 72 hours. The synthetic rubber gasket on the body of the door, along with other sealants provide a waterproof seal. (Units must be bolted to the floor in order to comply with the waterproof feature.)
